    "Patchable" Stuff?

So, for the programmers, computer geeks, and those in the know, what exactly can be "patchable" with regards to downloadable content?

Could the issue with the first baseman missing the bag be something that is fixable via a patch? Is the sky the limit, or are there restrictions to what can be done based on the programming code that is already in place?

I saw some great patch work done with NHL 09 whereby they actually mapped new controls to alleviate some issues with trying to shoot the puck in front of the net as opposed to just crosschecking the hell out of anyone close by.

So, can 2k formulate a list of issues that they see growing as the game is played, and revamp the whole thing, or is it non-cost effective-too hard-impossible-etc...

Hopefully they can patch it so that we can edit batting stances for the players who don't have a signature stance.

Or maybe we can give them a list of sig stances that we used for players that didn't have one in 2k8, so they can add those stances to the players who don't have one, via patch or roster update.

Garret Anderson stance for Carlos Pena, etc...

Yeah, this ain't gonna happen lol.

I would HOPE an option to turn on/off the giant pancake followed by the color blast would be added. Would it really be that hard to code? I like a clean Pitcher/Batter Interface. No strike zone..No Hot/Cold Zone etc.

i dont have the game yet, but from what I am reading if they can patch the inability to edit player stances and deliveries, put back in some of the sliders they took out, work on the AI not swinging at every strike, allow us to turn off some of the guides/meters, fix the franchise money glitch, allow us to play Season and Exhibition modes again, and some of the other things you guys are finding...this game is going to be incredible!
