I can't believe the lengths some people go to protect their hypocrisy.
I never said it was okay, I just said we do have a choice. There is always a choice, like it not.

This has been one of my biggest peeves with 2k baseball games, outside of general software stability issues. It takes a TON of massive slider adjustments and work arounds to get the damn game to play decently. Not to mention all the work arounds to get features to work right and to avoid lockups and crashes.

For whatever reason this game never seems to get the polish the other 2k games do.

LOL, your funny. I won't defend it, but from what I saw in the demo, it's good enough for me. I will play that and the show, but if 2k baseball was all I had, I would still be happy. No blind loyalty, just easy to please........

And that choice is severely limited at best. As I said, you seem to defend 2k for doing it, but blast EA for doing the same thing. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds apparently.

Do you even realize the ridiculousness of this argument? Not to mention even with the show, you've severely killed the amount of choice the consumer has and killed the majority of the competition, both current and future.

Blind Loyalty is a hell of a drug.

might be onto something then. Are you giving up any walks when pitching?

You are slipping. Usually your sliders are done by now.

Fact of the matter, Eddie, is that we shouldn't have to buy another system just to have a decent game of baseball. This is supposed to be Next Gen, and yet, despite the cool presentation, it hasn't done much to warrant that label

I understand that you might not care about editing stances and deliveries or AI not taking many strikes or the ability to adjust lineups and choose your pitcher in an exhibition game or even crashing after four games (but I bet you couldn't even tolerate this).

But most people do care about that stuff, and most people don't have $400 to just burn for one game.

No Walks as the CPU still swings @ stuff out of the zone & either SO or some how make contact..

Probably will need the detailed PDF Manual in order to get a real understanding of sliders.

I think we're doing just find with the choices we have today. Sure it would nice for some people to have EA back into the business of making baseball games or making the show available for both systems, hell that would save me 400 dollars, but that's not the way it is. I loved 2k5 and hated EA for what they did, but it's a business decision that even you might make if you were in that position. I said might.............

I don't even have the game but might can come up with a good set off the top of my head. I have a PS3 too so I will be okay

dang, that has always been an issue it seem with 2k games. Most baseball games for that matter.

Hey I understand, I'm not wealthy, I went back and forth with the decision on a PS3. Trying to think of other ways I blew 400 dollars and on what just to justify it etc. It's not easy, and I am not putting anyone down for liking those things and for not wanting to buy a ps3, because It sucks having to buy a system for one game, heck it's almost insane, but there is no other choice for the 360 unfortunately.

F--- 2k baseball they suck. They have been pulling this shi for yrs since 2006 on the xbox360. Game was all hype got home played ther game guess what. It froze after a few innings everyone was having this problem. They released a patch weeks later. I got the game in 2007 also guess what they promised they fixed it. Same problems then they promised 2008 would be better. Another pile of mess I heard and now 2009 the early reviews make it sound crappy again. This is crazy how can they continue to operate. Oh yeah I forgot that xbox owners only have one option for a baseball game. Got the other game on ps3 last yr and still play it love and look at the other board people are so happy with the game. The you come hear and it is the same depressing news again yr after yr. Why do I have to do all these work arounds and weird things as some people suggest just to play a normal game with no glitches from 2k. This is insane 2k baseball is the next Bernie Madoff a Scammer.
