Browsing through the forums and videos, I noticed that the Cardinals wear red away helmets instead of blue like they do in real life. HOW can you mess something this easy up? Will there be a patch to fix these mistakes?

While I understand your gripe and if it was my team it would bother me. But uniform mistakes are a minor concern at this point with some other big gameplay issues that are broke. -

Its inexcusable. To brag about having the official MLB license and yet completely fail at simple things such as uniforms...well, its just lazy.
Aside from the gameplay issues (which are #1), there's this which guarantees I'll never buy this game.
Attention to details can make a average game better.Comment

I was gonna complain about the Phillies numbers being too big on the back and too small on the sleeves ... then I saw that Mets combo and it all seemed silly.Comment

I wouldn't say that uniform issues such as these are minor. That gameplay issues are bigger, but I don't think they need to make the uni issues smaller. It's different teams working on these items - they both screwed up.Comment

The Cardinals did wear the red helmet on the road last year.
They didn't wear them frequently but they wore them like 4 or 5 times a month. I don't know if they plan to wear them more this year but it's not like it's totally uncalled for as if they never wore that last year.

I think uniforms are a tricky thing. From what I understand, they are mostly bound by the MLB style guides for this, unless specifically told otherwise. It's a problem BOTH baseball games have.
Every year certain teams have little things wrong with the uniforms (alternates more than regulars often times). Apparently some teams are horrible about updating the style guides.
I understand the frustration though...especially for teams that have multiple issues.Comment
