what time will stores have it tomorrow?

so tomorrow is the release date, what time is usually a sure bet to acquire a copy? or would it be there from the store's opening time?

PC version, btw. (not that it matters?)

From my experience when I pre-order I always get a call in the afternoon. If they have the game already when the store opens, I'm not sure what would stop them from selling it to you.

I pre-ordered MLB 2K9 from GameStop and got a call yesterday saying that both 2K9 and MLB 09 The Show are available at midnight tonight. They are also allowing you to process your transaction at 10 p.m. so you can get the game at midnight and leave right away.

what gamestop is this? I pre ordered mine from gamestop as well and when i called them to see if i could get it at midnight (they will be open to sell halo wars) they said i would have to check and see later. let me know because it would be stupid for some stores to allow this if others dont. they better let me get it tonight!

does anyone know if there is a delay for stores i n canada because last year i went to buy mlb 2k8 and it took like 3 days after original date before i could find it in stores. i am from montreal,quebec specificly if that means anything.

I'm not sure how many GameStops are doing this, but I read on another forum that stores that are doing midnight releases for Halo Wars will also be selling the baseball games, Tom Clancy's Hawx, and Empire: Total War.

I am not 100% sure, but the automated phone call I got yesterday stated that both baseball games are available at midnight at my GameStop (near Milwaukee, WI).

My local EB says I can pick it up at opening. Apparently they've had the game in stock for several days but can't move it because of the street date.

That's good, since I live in Pa, and have it pre-ordered, usually I know they get their copies in the day of release, and since there is a foot of snow outside I was worried it was getting delayed, but since they have it in stock, that is so boss.

Just called my local gamestop in Northern Virginia and they said it will be available tomorrow morning when the store opens.

btw, i looked up the ad, but it doesn't list the PC version there. only the console versions...

should i assume they won't have the PC version and go somewhere else?

At opening. The stores already have the titles in stock. They're just not supposed to sell til Tues.
