MVP 2005 by far. Franchise was awesome on that game. It revolutionized baseball games from that point on. It is not a coincidence that all games since then have been trying to achieve its greatness.

It is sad that EA is not able to capitalize on their success.

My biggest problem with MVP was the painfully slow sim times. My God, it took the length of a real MLB season to sim a season.

I had World Series '95 for Sega and was too young to mess with options (if there were any) but that game was so fun but the biggest home run fest. Ron Gant was automatic for me. Also I saw some strange bugs in that game, one time my infielder threw the ball from the infield and hit the outfield wall, sweetest thing ever haha.

Hardball 5 for the PC was my game too. Finished a whole season. You could edit your team logos and names and city and everything which was awesome to me. Plus it had sliders I think.
