    Hi Lisa,

Well, the PC version is not bad. The games runs great on my PC. It is because I recently upgraded my PC with a Duel Core 3.mhz processor, 4 megs of ram and a 9800 XTG Nivida card. So it runs good on the highest settings for me.

I'm still playing a few games and I'm finding a few small bugs like strange graphic clippings, outfielders not picking up the ball on the deep warning tracks so the batter get an inside the park HR...This happened only once. Also, I'm sure I've seen the uniforms get dirty on the Xbox demo. I'm not seeing it on the PC, maybe they took it out?

So far, so good, not bad for a PC game..I'm just happy a baseball game for the PC is finally here!!

I'll put up some more videos later on with different teams.

    Peace
    Ernesto

If they took that out, they're gay.

How is the game in reference to controls.

At this point I don't have a gamepad and default keyboard/mouse would be the only way of playing for a bit.

I tried out nba 2k9 on the PC (demo) and I couldn't bear the controls w/o a gamepad. I do plan on getting one but I wanna do a little research on them so I don't get a crap gamepad that doesn't work.

Just go with a wired or wireless xbox 360 controller for your PC. You can't really go wrong with that.

How does the wireless 360 controller work with the pc? I was still under the assumption that only a wired controller could be used.

THere is receivers that plug into your PC through a USB cable. The receivers receive the controller signals.

Rican, based on your comparisons between the 2 (PC and 360) would you say the games are identical or close to it...or do you feel that the 360 is superior in any way?...if so, how?

Id like to get some direct comparisons between the 2 because I have a high end PC and if the games are identical or close enough all around, then I may just save some cash and invest in the PC version...especially since they are more prone to Community modding and even patches to make the game even better

If you can live w/o online play, there's no reason to get the 360 version. PC will have superior graphics, and as you've already mentioned, the mod community will do their part to make the game better.

                      Hi Lisa,

Well, it's hard for me to tell yet since I don't have the full XBOX 360 version and I would like to compare the full versions of both. As soon as Hollywood video has the game, I am going to rent the xbox360 and make an honest comparison. The demo didn't give me enough info to compare the two versions.

If you do have a fast CPU (Duo/Quad Core), 4 megs of ram and a decent graphics card 9800 and above, and a nice looking flat screen monitor, I have a 20 inch LCD and the resolution I'm playing the game is at 1680x1050 wide screen and it looks real sharp!

I think you will be ok with the PC version because it is pretty close to the xbox360, maybe better looking too! and of course, the moddability that can be done with the PC, and it's only $20.00!

But keep in mind, there is no online play. And like I said in my previous post, looks like they took out the dirty uniforms feature out of the PC version, so I still might find other features that the Xbox has that the PC dosn't have....I'm not sure yet...but so far, other then the uniform thing, it looks like everything is there.

I'm going to put a couple more videos and maybe you can see for yourself if you like it or not.

                      peace

yeah but see my 52" lcd, 2k oversized couch, ease of just pop in and play without any worries of specs, all say differently...

to each his own, but to say the only reason to get the 360 version is for online play just isn't true for everyone..

Does the PC version have a behind the catcher pitching view? Also, I'm not a big fan of the light show on every pitch. Are there other indicator options to show you what's going on with each pitch? All the pop and flash does nothing for me.

No, I'm afraid no behind the catcher view. Also, those flash and pops is what you're going to see, I don't see an option to turn them off...so, no, this game will do nothing for you.
