Re: MLB 2k8 question
Yea pretty much runs fluid throughout the course of a game.
Granted there may be some hiccups here n there but not NEARLY as bad as launch day where throwing from short to first looked like a slide show.Comment

Re: MLB 2k8 question
I have to say that it DOES still have framerate issues. Much better, but they are still there. Some stadiums are worse than others, and it seems to be the worst when there is a runner on 2nd and you are pitching from the pitching camera. I would highly recommend installing it to your hard drive as well. Loads faster and seemed to also improve the framerate somewhat.Comment

Re: MLB 2k8 question
I hear that. My wife lost her job in the fall. We are doing ok though. I still was able to buy the "other game" though, as I am only buying one game this year. I am sticking with 2k8 and even 2k7 for my 2K baseball fix.Comment

Re: MLB 2k8 question
Ok here it is, but It doesn't have some of the recent tweaks that I've made.I'll post what has been updated later today, cause I can't right now cause my brother is playing The Show 09'.
Anything with a " * " next to it, is one of my tweaks, but the rest is from Bahnzo's hard work.(he's a poster here on OS, and I used his set as a base)
I recommend the following:
Aerial Cam
Total Controll Pitching
Swing Stick 2.0
No Strike Zone
No Ball Trail
No Auto Reselect fielder
No USER Inside Edge
etc.. etc...(Just remove all of the unnecessary flashy junk)
Start from the Legend difficulty setting.

And if you have any hitters with contact and power graded A to A+ on YOUR franchise team, I recommend lowering their power and contact attributes. You might want to lower their doubles attribute too, cause Vlad had like 60 doubles in my franchise...But then again, I was still messing with the human contact and power sliders in the first month or two in my franchise, so Vlad's doubles may have just been inflated from those first few months.
I'll post my season stats for those who are curious how things might turn out in a full season with this slider set.
btw, when you start a franchise, you have to put the sliders in the franchise difficulty settings too. They don't transfer over from your exhibition play settings/sliders.(LAME!)
