the reason your thread was closed is because calling that a game killer or a bug is not right...

maybe is your skill right now..i mean you just got the game and you want to be Bonds...

I had the game for 4 days now and homers are easy on any level unless you lower the sliders past what legend has...

go into practice mode and work on hitting before you call the fact that you cant hit homers a game killer or bug

Once again. Try it for yourself and see if you can do it before saying its cause I'm not skilled enough to push the right stick upwards while holding the left stick upwards as well.

I dont wanna be a "Bonds". I just wish there was a way to increase the amount of homeruns to a more realistic number of around 2-3 per game without affecting the easiness of getting base hits. The power slider is broken and meaningless.

Once again the hr in this game are to easy...have you read the forums for the last week..

name me somebody besides you that has said there are no home runs in this game...

i hit 7 in one game....please stop calling the game broken when your idea is broken

Well, his homerun issues aside (on which I agree with you...if anything, they seem easy), if he's right and the wrong sliders are what makes a difference in power (as he stated in the other thread that got locked), then he's right to say it's a bug, IMO.

how can he be right...if i have been testing that since 4 days ago...i lowered it for both sides and home runs are much harder now...when i raise them the homers fly out...

As I replied in the other thread, I had 3 HRs in one game on Legend w/Toronto. There is no bug.

Okay, cool. I said IF he is right about the sliders...lol. I haven't tested anything, so how would I know?

I never said he was right, only that if the sliders were doing things they weren't designed to, then it's fair to call it a bug. That's it

Okay you idiots. Do this, set the sliders to legend, go into batting practice and come tell me how many home runs you can hit and how that is not an issue for players playing on legend.

lol...wait a minute. I allude to the fact that you may be correct if indeed the sliders are messed up, and you quote my post (which never said anything doubting you) to respond with insult.

Interesting. I was actually trying to give you the benefit of the doubt there big guy, but apparently your shortcomings aren't limited to homeruns on legend...they extend to literacy too.

Geesh.

Oh...and plenty of people have already stated they hit HRs on legend. Maybe you're also having trouble grasping the concept of increased difficulty levels too. In theory, as you go up, things get harder to do. Crazy, I know

Can anyone just try batting practice with legend sliders WITHOUT BUMPING UP ANY SLIDERS (someone posted they have hit home runs on legend but he admitted to bumping up batting success which defeats his argument)? If you can hit home runs, then come back here and rip on me all you want. Even try bumping up ONLY the power slider to 100 and try it again. It is still next to impossible. This is a serious issue for people who will eventually start playing on legend. The only way to fix it is to bump up contact and batter success to be able to hit home runs again BUT that makes the game way to easy. So will someone please give this a try instead of disregarding this issue.

Things get harder but it should not be impossible. TRY IT OUT AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN. The person who claimed to have hit home runs said he bumped up the contact and success sliders. TRY DEFAULT LEGEND SLIDERS. before replying to this please try it out so you have some comments that are meaningful.
