curveball is making pitching no fun

anybody got any ideas how to make cpu hit curve better. It seems like I can mix it in and get a strike every time as long as I throw it fastball, curve , curve, fastball, curve. Its beginning to be a cheap out for me. I have been playing on allstar trying to tweak sliders to make cpu hit curve better. I guess you could never throw curve but that sucks. Anybody got any ideas or good sliders maybe adjusting pitch meter sliders? I really do like hitting a lot though; I while I don't like aggressive ai I can live with it, but cheap curve ruining pitching for me. any ideas please help

Previous versions of the game had unhittable pitches as well. Other than advising you not to throw it, maybe throw it only in a zone where IR says the CPU can hit?

The problem is that you HAVE to throw the breaking ball, or you are going to get laced all over the field.

They do make contact on it, but breaking pitches seem to be the only pitches were there isnt a guarantee that the CPU will lace it every single time.

I think the problem is that there is no happy medium: The CPU makes nothing but solid contact on fastball and straight changes. It's either solid contact, or swing and miss. No in between.

With breaking balls, they make solid contact less often, but the discrepency between how they react to fastball, offspeed and breaking balls is just too drastic.

Maybe you have house rule that you dont throw breaking balls into cold zones...who knows. It's a definite issue.
