yep, i noticed that this morning. There are a few others who are messed up, Milton Bradley only makes 800K.

I went through each team and made a few alterations, probably 15-20 guys need to be majorly tweaked. Im sure the percentage of players needing minor tweaks is quite higher

Yes it's editable, its no big deal yeesh. Take the time to look through the game and just edited before you get your undies in a bundle.

what is the point of your post? What exactly are you adding by telling people not to get their undies in a bunch?

Why in the world should i have to take the time to do those kinds of things when an entire dev team couldn't do it months in advance?

One thing the Living Roster update didn't catch is that it still had Odalis Perez on the Nationals.

First thing I did was dump his hold out *** to the curb.

Because you're expected to do everything. Why should the people profiting from the game get it right? Good thing they have all the batting stances and pitch types right for everybody. Even if they didn't, we could edit those and fix them.

If you find others that are wrong, post 'em. They'll get fixed in Living Roster updates.

                Baltimore Orioles -

I'm gonna go ahead and post some corrections, be warned that some of these are extremely minor and I'm not nitpicking, just pointing the out to VC if they want to include them in the Living Roster updates.

                Melvin Mora - 2k has 2 yr 6.67 million - MLB has 1 yr @ 9 million with a club option for 2010.

                Aubrey Huff - 2k has 1 yr @ 6.4 milion, MLB has 1 yr @ 8 million.

                Brian Roberts - 2k has 1 yr 5.72 million, MLB has 8 million in 09, plus he signed a 4 yr extension this year (2010-13). It is 4 years/$40M and breaks down like this - 10:$10M, 11:$10M, 12:$10M, 13:$10M.

Danys Baez 2k has 1 yr 4 million, MLB has 1 yr 5.5 milion

                Katsuya Uto (K. Uehara) - 2k = 2 yr 4million per, MLB = 2 yr 5 million per

                Jim Wilson (Jamie Walker) - 2k has 1 yr 640k, MLB = 1 yr 4.5 million

                Ryan Freel - 2k has 1 yr 2.80 million, MLB = 1 yr, 4 million

                Nick Markakis - 2k has a 6 yr, 52.5 million deal @ 8.8 per year, MLB = 6 yr, 66 million with the following pay scale: 09:$3M, 10:$6.75M, 11:$10.25M, 12:$12M, 13:$15M, 14:$15M with a $17.5M mutual option for 2015. If it is averaged out it is $11M per year, not $8.8M.

                Ty Wiggington - 2k has 2 yr @ 2.5 mill per year, MLB = 2 yr @ 3 million per year

                George Sherril - 2k has 1 yr @ 2.2 mill, MLB = 1 yr @ 2.75 mill

                Cesar Izturis - 2k has 2 yr @ 2 million per, MLB = 2 yr @ 6 million; 09:$2.4M, 10:$2.6M

                Luke Scott - 2k has 2 yrs, 1.92 per, MLB has 1 yr @ 2.4 million

                Mark Hendrickson - 2k has 1 yr, 1.2 mill, MLB = 1 yr, 1.5 mill.

Greg Zaun has the same contract 2k vs MLB as Hendrickson but w/ a 2010 option yr for Baltimore.

Ok, I'm noticing that a lot of the contracts have minor differences in $$, so I'm not going to bother doing those anymore. I'm just going to do the ones that need major correction in either years or $$ from now on.

                Adam Eaton (Norfolk) - 2k has 1 yr, 720k. MLB has 1 yr @ $8.5M!! with a 2010 club option.

                  Cincinnati Reds -

Fransisco Cordero - 2k has 4 yrs, $36.16M, MLB has 3 yrs left @ $37M. Broken down as 09:$12M, 10:$12M, 11:$12M, with a 2012 $12M club option. If you count the option year as the 4th year you have 4 yrs @ $49M.

Aaron Harang - 2k has 3 yr $25.5M ($8.6M per yr), MLB has 2 years left @ $23.5M with a 2011 club option @ $12.75M. The two years break down as 09:$11M, 10:$12.5M. If you count the option year it is 3 yrs @ $36.25M.

Bronson Arroyo - 2k has 3yr, $21.27M (7.09 per year), MLB has 2 yr @ $25M. Arroyo will make $9.5M in 2009, and $11M in 2010. There is a club option for 2011 @ $11M. Even if you count the option year it is 3 yrs @ $36M

Ramon Hernandez- 2K has 2 yr $12.8M and $6.4M per year, MLB has 1 yr @ $8M with an $8.5M club option in 2010. Even if you count the option year it is $16.5M over 2 yrs.

                  Brandon Phillips - 2k has 4 yr @ $23.84M. MLB has 3 yrs @ $22.5M with a 2012 option year. If you include the 2012 option year it becomes 4 yr @ $34.5M. Quite a bit more $$.

                  Willy Taveras - 2k has 2 yrs @ $3.16M. MLB has 2 yrs @ $6.25M. Salary breakdown = 09:$2.25M, 10:$4M.

James Astacio (Yonder Alonso) Louisville - 2k has 5 yrs, $500k, MLB has 4 yrs left @ $2.5M. I understand you may not be able to do his real contract because he is a fake player in MLB 2k9.

I noticed this a few weeks ago when Steve was posting screens of the game.
