    Instant Replay is broken

If you go into the menus in the middle of a game in an effort to review the previous play, you need to do so before the play ends, i.e. the next batter comes to the plate. Once that happens, you can't view the previous play.

Chipper Jones hits a home run. Brian McCann stepped to the plate, no pitch was thrown and I went into the menu to see the replay of Chipper homer, I can only skip forward or backward one or two steps, essentially seeing the pitcher awaiting McCann to step to the plate.

How weak is that ? More proof the game was made in a rush.

Don't get me wrong. I've played 2 full games and they've been enjoyable. Aside from the CPU swinging agression (I've yet to see the CPU take a strike) and the fact that they've got the Braves' helmets and hats wrong (where are the red bills??), it's been decent.

Go to Game Stats, and then to Game Track.

Every play of the game is listed, and you can see the replay of any of them.

NBA 2K9 is like that also. VC's replay mode has very limited memory.

              That's quite bizarre.

That's cool.. I've been playin' the PC demo and.. yea it's got issues, but I haven't seen all the fielding glitches everyone talks about. I've played a ton of games too. I haven't seen any fielders stuck in walls or clip through objects ( other than players and coaches ), I had one ball bounce off my outfielders nuts ( but it seems you don't have to do much fielding (( i just place my fielder around the yellow circle - he does the rest )) ).. in the 3 inning demo, I had Hamels strike out 4 batters..

No, it is always available. It shows you the current innings plays, and you can use the triggers to cycle through the past innings.

Unfortunately, this means replays of balls in play only. I tried to look at a particularly nasty curve ball for a strike and was out of luck.

Replay is broke, in that you should always be able to call up the last play by hitting replay. But as soon as the batter steps in, the last play is no longer available there.
