Updates and patches

Is there any chance that there's someone here that knows how to get the game updates and patches from their hard drive? Or perhaps someone knows of a site where they can be found?

As far as I know, you can only get them directly from Xbox Live. You only need an internet connection (not dialup) to your Xbox. You don't need an Xbox Gold account. You can do it with Xbox Silver (the free one).
