Player editing problem
Okay, I'm trying to edit the default players in the game but the changes aren't sticking, even though I save the roster each time. Example, and I've done this three times now: as a quick test, I edit a player, give him eye black, batting gloves and sleeves. I exit and save the roster. Then I start a game and see the changes haven't stuck. I go back into the player editor, load the player, and see everything has defaulted back and all my changes were lost. Am I doing something wrong here, or is there a glitch with this? Thanks.Tags: None -
Re: Player editing problem
I dont have 2k9, but it was a problem in 2k8 as well about the edits not saving. The way around it was to make all your edits and when you wanted to exit that menu the system will ask to save, you would select no or exit. Then you would go to the main menu and save your roster from there.
Hope that works. Let me know. -

Also, after doing some more lineup moves, I've discovered there's some funky issue with roster saves as well. Several times, I've made some roster moves (MLB > AAA) and then saved overtop another save. But when I reloaded the saved roster, none of the moves stuck. Same sort of issue, in other words, only with roster moves rather than editing. But I have been able to get the moves to register on other save files using the exact same save method...?
What I'm thinking it might be is I can't overwrite a roster to get the changes to stick, and that I have to create a whole new roster save. There was another game that had that issue -- might have been MLB 2K7 or something.Comment
