PC version mlb2k9: changing to tot. cont. pitching and cpu fielding

First off, I only use keyboard...no joysticks for this old guy.
So, I selected classic pitching with my profile. I want to change to total control pitching. I can't see this option anywhere now, even when I try to create a new profile through the unbelieveably complicated menu phumpfering. Does anyone know how to go back to total control pitching from classic pitching?

Secondly: EVERY SINGLE PC graphical baseball game I have ever played has had the option to allow the CPU to field. This game does not seem to have that option, which to me is totally unbelievable. Am I right? Or is there a way to get the CPU to field for you so you can concentrate on pitching and hitting?
None of the kids over at the 2K sports site forums answered either of these questions, though I posted them each a while back.
I'm hoping someone can answer these 2 ?s on here,as this site seems to be a bit more "adult."

    Thanks

On the 360, I believe it is in the controller setup. I'm not in front of it right now but that's what I think I remember. I know you're on the PC, but try there.
But then again, I'm old too and sick on top of that so the memory is not working. Coffee should help.
A word of advice, try not to start two topics with essentially the same question. You can always go back and edit a topic if you need.

Go to Options and then select "Control Setup." Once in the control setup menu press 4 on the keyboard and a menu will come up that allows you to switch different control types such as total control or classic.

yea but this does not give the option for "automatic fielding"

That is probably because there is no option for automatic fielding but his question was answered in how to change gameplay types.

Thanks a heap,my fellow Mets fan! (Let's go Mets!!!)
            Much appreciated.
STILL wish there was auto-fielding;can't believe they didn't put that into the game,as every single PC baseball game has always had it.
I'll take what I can get being this is the only PC baseball game to come out in 4 years, but man am I severely dissapointed. Glad I didn't have to fork over 60 bucks like the console kiddies had to.
