Are you able to charge grounders with your infielders?

Has VC taken away the ability to charge soft infield grounders to short or 2nd? Seems like we can only go left or right now.

    Just curious.

Yeah you can. Its just that a lot of times(actually most times) the animation just takes over and you have no control. You'll get a grounder that you can charge sooner or later. Just another one of the minor annoyances with this game.

Reminds me alot of 2K5 (I think) where there was an issue with 3rd Basemen being unable to charge a grounder until it passed the mound.

Its so frustrating cause sometimes it'll be a CPU controlled animation and so I'll try and control him hoping I get to make the play. Then the next time I'll just sorta leave him thinking it will take over, and he wont move. Just give me full control dammit lol.

I've gotten used to it but the lack of full control of my fielders is just aggravating.
