Did they REMOVE the SIM to END feature from Franchise?

One of my favorite features in a sports franchise game is the ability to SIM to the End of a game or be able to SIM to certain areas of a game when Im not in the mood to play out the whole game for whatever reasons.

Sometimes I would just enjoy simming to the 7th inning of a game and take over from there. Has this feature been removed from 2K9? I remember last year it was in the game and I used to use it all the time...At least I think I did, maybe Im confused with another game?

I dont see this Option when I quit out of a Franchise game. The Save and Quit feature is nice but alot of times I just want to SIM to the END of random game that I may have just jumped in to play a few innings of.

This is a bigger bummer then I thought....Baseball, especially, baseball...should always have a Sim to End (or Inning) feature because quite frankly, people get bored and only want to play a few innings of a game sometimes....especially when blowouts are occuring.

I love the option to be able to play any matchup in my franchise this year but its kinda hampered by the fact that when I randomly play a matchup between any 2 teams, Im gonna have to play the entire game out...which is something I dont always want to do...or continue at a later date

      Oh well....(holding my head)

Good point. If they ever fix this abomination of a game and I get drunk enough to buy it, that's just another missing feature that's gonna tick me off.
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

LOL....yeah its annoying. On one hand they finally added the feature I wanted ( to play any team's matchup in my franchise) Yaaaay!

But then they let the wind out of my sails my simply adding the above but taking OUT the ability to SIM the rest of a game. So its either PLAY the ENTIRE game or NOTHING!

          Sheeesh

Im sure this feature only has limited appeal, because I am assuming most people dont mind playing an entire 9 inning game out, but perhaps I have ADD or something because, I simply like to play only bits and peices of a game so this missing feature kills Franchise for me. In fact I like to play alot of Sports games this way.

Thats why I love NHL 09. You can SIM then JUMP IN and PLAY

Awesome!...WOnder why 2K removed this (confused stare at my monitor)

Its not your desirable way of doing things, but what about when you're done w/ your few innings, or you're getting blown-out, set the user controller to the CPU - so that the CPU teams play each other.

Walk away and do something else for 30 minutes come back and maybe its over.

You might need a cord for your controller though so that it doesn't pause your game when it turns off by itself from no use.
