Unless you were looking at the critics & users reviews who seem to got it better with a 6.8 ratings.

BUT gamespots review is still 4.0

Which shows that some of these sites are way off. There's no way this game is a 4.5. 6.5 to 7 is much more accurate.

according to gamespot this game is worst than nba ballers and nba live 07....AND no way in hell is this game worse than madden 06 which smoked it with a 7.4..LOL

yeah that was weird. It was differnet this morning and changed twice and now it's back to a 4.5. I agree this game is better than that. It upsets me that these so called credible sites don't even really play these games.

The ends still dictate the means. I mean if you are a sim gamer and want decent stats and there is no way for you to get the stats because of the Agressive AI not willing to take a pitch then this game may be a 4.5. Either way, if you are really into stats, the game doesn't deliver so 4.5 is a good warning. Plus the Road Runner clouds comment made me chuckle. The review was a good gauge of the game. In other words, go ahead and buy the game, but don't say you wern't warned.

Naw that would be pushing it. To many bugs from a big named developer to warrant a 8. Mid 6's to low 7's would be fair.

Things that bring score down

• Poor tuning out the box
• 1st base glitch
• 2nd base pitch off bug
• pitches disappearing bug
• terrible frame rates down the line and behind catcher
• herky jerky animations
• franchise bugs

Things that bring the score up

• Great smooth multiplayer
• online leagues
• Great presentation
• Wonderful commentary
• Fun pitching and batting interface
• Good controls
• Good lighting, decent graphics

4.5 is very accurate. I played the demo and it was purely awful. Looks like a cartoon. You must be limited to a certain system to not know what baseball should look and play like.

if a game site can be critical of a game, so can I...don't finger wave me. 2K will be lucky if they are even allowed to continue to make professional baseball games again.
