Do I actually have to pause and replay the play I want to see right after the animation? I can't wait until the transition to the pitcher or whatever? Every time I do so, I end up replaying 2 seconds of the pitcher walking around...

Yeah, it appears this way. Once the next batter steps up to the plate, you lose the ability to watch the previous play from that menu...another head scratcher of this game...but I think there may be a way to go back and view any play from the game from another menu...maybe someone else can chime in this game.Comment

In game you have to do it before the pitcher gets set yes.
After the game, I forget menu option but it's a line score of the game, each half inning has the plays from that half inning. You can select one and run the replay for it.Comment
