How do you turn off the in game ticker?

ok for some reason it wasn't showing up until today and it is very distacting, i went into the options and checked under presentation and game settings and i can't find it, somebody please help i don't want it on while i am playing, hitting becomes a pain in the *** when that thing keeps going

I haven't seen the sports ticker on yet? You are seeing this in games now?

yes it has all of the sudden shown up, i don't know if i did something on accident to make it happen or what but now i can't figure out how to make it go away.

and like i said it didn't show up until today and i have been playing this game since release day

I think 2k did something. The ticker works now. To turn the sports ticker off you have to goto main menu and choose OPTIONS ans look for 2k ticker.

I think you have to choose all I forget the options. Or you can turn them off individually

so you are saying i have to finish the game i am in the middle of then turn it off? just great this ticker isn't good for people who use zoomed in batting with certain height and zoom levels. i put my game on pause to see if anybody had any answers but now i have to go finish my game, damn it

Yes you can't be in a game. You have to set it on or off before a game. I know it sucks but thats how it is...

I think it has something to do with the newest update. I went and changed everything to "off" and went back into franchise and it still didn't work...maybe I need to restart my system.

It is really annoying.

It's set different in franchise and non. You have to set the ticker while in the franchise to your liking and save the ticker not in franchise to your liking

The ticker just started working for me too last night. I tried to sign on to check my leagues when it said the servers were down and to try again later. I played a regular franchise game and afterwards tried to sign it again and I was able to. This is when the ticker started working. Strangely, enough I have had much more realistic pitch counts after the ticker started working. I even saw the CPU take 8 straight pitches without swinging and draw back to back walks from me.
