No yall are missing the point. Enough of the show jabs here all the time. I own BOTH MLB 2k9 and THE SHOW but I will not come to this forum and talk about it. I will go to the SHOW forum.
Coming here and "talking down" about mlb2k9 is doing nothing. We have more than enough of that here. We all know the issues.
Do the player faces look better in the show? Yes
I am not disagreeing with you. But it is the little comments that people get tired of seeing thread in and thread out. I know me personally get tired of seeing people come here just to say the show is better. It might be better in some regards, but it has also taken the "SAFE" route and has not done anything revolutionizing. But I can say yea the show looks great. But I won't come here and say "The SHOW ROCKS!!! Greatest baseball game made.....This MLB2k9 crap holds nothing to the show"
It is those kinds of remarks that I dislike. We are hear to talk about mlb2k9 NOT the show. I go to the show forum to talk about the show. I don't see why others can't do this.Comment

No need to apologize, it's a good article. The only reason I made my comment is because it's usually not possible for people to discuss both games in a civil way on here, but if nothing big comes up(like "the show rocks comments" that Phobia is talking about) then it should be fine to leave in here...Comment

After going back through the article. I am really surprised the MLB2k9 faces look as close as the do. Cause "in-game" I always think they look like utter crap. But in that article they looked pretty decent. Going to have to check them out little closer now

I was suprised too, and the two that I found most impressive for 2k9 were Fielder and Pujols. The rest of them aren't all that bad either IMO.Comment

Wow, what's up with the Ken Griffey ones? Neither of them look nothing like him.
I think both of these games faces look horrible. Still, after all these years, the faces in MVP 05 are far superior to any of these games, and most of them were made by the average joe.Michigan Wolverines
