help with two quirks

I'm enjoying the game, but like everyone else I get frustrated by a few quirks.

First, I have a starting pitcher on the dl, but I can't find a way to call someone up from the minors to take his spot without sending someone else down. There's no open slot. Am I missing something?

Also -- and this one's really infuriating -- when I get a hit with a runner on first with two outs, sometimes the baserunner will hold at the bag to make sure it's a hit, when he should be away with the pitch. I've had him thrown out at second on a base hit three times in two games. Is that because I'm not controlling him manually?

Any help would be appreciated.

you havent gone to your roster page, and then clicked the left thumbstick t0 cycle between minor league teams? click on a minor leaguer and it should give you the option to call him up.

as for the other thing, yeah do it manually. i find that i can tell a hit long before the ai can, so i just do it myself.

Thanks. I'll try the roster again. As for the baserunners, it just happened to me three times in one inning. I had like five consecutive hits and no runs. I do know where the quit button is.
