    Sad pitching suggestion

Its too easy to hit spots. I wish that we could either turn the pitching cursor off, or have the pitch cursor rattle around like when your pitching with men in scoring position at all times. I guess this can't be altered via patch.

Anyways, I taped a little piece of dark paper on the tv over the strike zone, and turned off vibrate, so I don't have such a precise idea of where the pitch is going. Next best thing.

Ha-ha! I did the same thing with Tiger Woods on my PC -- taped a piece of cardboard to the monitor to cover up the club yardage distance. Whatever it takes to make the game a bit tougher.

Your exactly correct, but who would have thought???

I always use classic controls,,,started playing the game and thought pitching was extremely tough. Went with Total control, and it was so easy right off the bat.

Strange but true...you gotta real bare down to hit your spots with classic pitching. Otherwise you throw meatballs or really miss the strike one with bad balls. it's especially hard, when you finally get the timing down and your pitcher gets tired, you put in a reliever, and bam, you gotta get the timing down all over again.

I don't get this. The circle expands/contracts the same for all pitchers. How would bringing in a different pitcher make any difference?

Because once the pitcher gets tired,,,your starter,,,Circles expands and closes quicker.

Reliever comes in with full stamina,,,circle expands and closes slower, just like previous years.

I have tried classic pitching but I haven't figured it out how to throw strikes yet. There must be some way to turn the pitching cursor off; I'd do it if I had PC.

It's different then in previous years, there is no noise or anything when you get a perfect pitch off in classic.

Basically just hit the face button for the pitch and hold it,,,RELEASE it when the circle fills up, or when it begins vibrating,,,that is how much power you are putting on it,..,,then you have to press the button one more time when the circle closes and becomes it's smallest. They key is to hit it the last time, later then you would think. Go intyo practice mode and practice. it is hard though, but I like it that way.

Plus when you get in a groove as the game goes,,,your pitcher will boviously tire, and that timing you had, will be different cause the circle will get faster, so it's definately a nice challange.

I think turning the Release Timing to ON on Pitching, which makes it last year's version of rightstick pitching. It should make pinpoint accuracy a bit harder.
