This game is really starting to grow on me..

I think this game really has some great potential. When I first started playing it, I did think it was crap but after adjusting sliders that helped alot. But don;t get me wrong we need a patch and I know its in the works. But I just hope they fix the big issues and fix it RIGHT. I don;t wanna here another patch is coming. VC take as long as you need to get it to play correclty. Also just don't patch the big issues also patch the issues like animations(like the pitcher gets thrown the ball back to him and he walks around the mound) this needs to be fixed and sometimes the players snap slide themseleves into position and in the batters box. So we need animations fix as well. But I wouldn't say it's a 5.5 or 6.5 I would say its a solid 7.5-8.0. People have to learn to play the game. I don;t think it's arcadish either. Its very sim like. I have The Show and MLB 2k9 and I am playing 2k9 more becuase The Show is the same boring game as last year. I know I will get slammed for saying it but its true. Those are my thought I think most would agree.

PS I know people like the bat sounds, but I don't they need to change them for next year. I am still asounded at the commentary, way better then The Show

Lats note: We also have to know what the sliders actually do, but I doubt we will get that

They wont patch the animations thats for sure, they have never patched that b4, thats too small too them. If we get the Outfielders to not look like idiots and let balls go over there head or past them were good. Along with the 1B glitch which is outrageous to me and shows they seriously have 0 game testers for this product and 3rd the AI aggressivenss if out of control and thats being fixed. Those 3 are the main goals for VC right now. They wont change little things at all

You don't think so. I mean I agree with everything you said but I wish they can patch the animations. I know alot of people skip through them but I DON'T. It needs to be fixed

I have both the Show and MLB2k9 and I like MLB2k9 much more. The commentary in it alone is flat out amazing. Then it is just flat out more "FUN" to play than the show. I get bored with the show.

enjoy the game alot and my brother-in-law said he was dissappointed w/ the show saying it felt like last year.

with bugs this game is a 7.5 when the new patch comes 8.5 or 9 for sure

I am with you on this I have it at a 7-7.5 with a patch 8.5-9.5
