Update from Ron about patch 2

Hi all,
I want to officially confirm that the patch has been submitted and is going under approvals as we speak. That still puts us at an approximate Opening Day release without any hitches. I am still in the UK but I am trying to get full notes on it and hope to have that ASAP.

From everything I've ever heard -- including info straight from other devs in the case of EA NHL -- Microsoft's approval process is a minimum of 10 days. If it was submitted on 3/27 (date of Ronnie's post I guess) and that's 10 'regular' days, the earliest possible release would be 4/7. If it's 10 business days, that means 4/13 would be the earliest possible release. Of course, this is all under the assumption that the testing process goes without a hitch.

And finally, once the patch is finalized and submitted to MS (and Sony), the release is out of the developer's hands. So references to 2K "pushing for a quick release" (made in another thread I believe) are irrelevant and unrealistic. Not trying to be a downer, just trying to clear up any confusion before people get frustrated...

Well, i have know about it being submitted for a few days, so, its been before the 27th i know that.

Thing is, Ronnie said he was in the UK (which means he's obviously busy with something) and maybe hasn't been able to post about it until today. That could mean an opening day release (like he was saying) is still possible.

Is there any word on what exactly this patch is going to do?, like a itemized list, cause if this patch does not fix the things i need, i am done with it.

He gave us a short list:

AI Agressiveness
Home Run Totals
Fly balls in the outfield tweaked so ghastly fielding errors will be a thing of the past
1st baseman stepping off bag has been tweaked
Issues with the pitch overlay hud
Fixed pickoffs, especially to 2nd base
Roster issues as it pertains to subsituting pitchers and bench

but he also said the list was incomplete and that he would try to get us an official list when he gets the chance.

There is alot more then that. about a week and a half ago, i seen the first set of notes. He just gave pretty much the big stuff. I was also told that the list was not complete.
