"Folks, with all this talk about the patch...the patch, I thought I'd break things up a bit and offer some of you who may NOT be aware of some of these findings I came across while doing a little poking around:
1- Ever miss an Instant Replay because you paused the game too late and it reset to the new batter coming up? ...Or wouldnt you just like to see a replay of any play in the game at any time?? Well, for those of you who may not know this....you CAN.
Simply goto pause screen during a game and go down to the STATS section.
In there you should see an option called Game Track (I think) and click on on it.
In here you will see a play by play screen print out of the results of every at bat...if you select an at bat by highlighting it and clicking the A button (xbox360) You will now see the REPLAY of that at bat! You can do it for any play in the game from any inning...pretty cool.
2- Ever want to see the player ratings of a player on the opposing team for a particular reason, maybe to see their Speed, or their fielding range or arm strength? In 2k8 it was as simple as clicking on the lineup cards for either team and clicking a players name. However in 2K9, they seemed to omit this feature for whatever silly reason. However, a workaround is to simply goto:
The pause screen and click on the STATS menu
Then click on Boxscore
From this screen you can left click on any player's name to bring up their player profiles and see all the info you want!"
