interesting post above me...thanks for the research..i too usually love franchise and it sucks that if i want to use a pinch hitter, it'll blow his wad for the next game thus having to sit him again, but guess i can deal with it....

thanks for the fatigue issue breakdown. i guess i can handle that.

now can someone explain the injury bug to me. for instance, i'm going to use the yanks in my franchise. lets say after the roster updates, A-Rod lands on the 15 day DL (where he is now, in real life). After the 15 days are up, what will his status be and what do i need to do to get him healthy? And is this an issue that is better off totally avoided, and instead just play with player injuries off? thanks guys.

Back to the fatigue issue, is anyone else noticing that the CPU runs pitchers all the way down to 0 when you sim? I play every 4th game in my franchise, and every single time I play my starter is only at 84% and the starter from the game before is at 0%. If I use a different starter it totally messes up my rotation so I just go at it with a somewhat tired starter. Anyone else having this issue?

i think its cause of how long that starter has pitched the game before. i had verlander thow a complete game for me and the next day he is at 0. when that happens sometimes they dont go all the way back to 100 cause of how long they were used. same goes when the cpu uses his starters. i did the sim with the detroit tigers to figure out the fatigue issue. one thing i am curious about is how fatigue is managed by the cpu for the national league teams. ill do some investigating when i get the chance.

I know it's determined by how much they pitch their previous game, but it's happening every single game. I always have 1 starter at 0% when I play because the CPU ran him all the way down his last start. I have plenty of relievers so there's no reason the CPU shouldn't use them.

i just had mark buehrle for the whitesox pitch a complete game with 8 strike outs. not only did he not get the win for the game but they only gave him credit for 1 inning pitched and 2 strike outs. all in all 15 games in to my season Im not happy with the game and Im probally going to trade it in for mlb the show. btw I have the 360 version
