    Re: Using the left stick

I hit 3-4 homers in my first game that was post patch. I am not complaining right now as the CPU won. I'm having the hardest time figuring out how to utilize the pitch meter, and thus, I'm pitching like the loser that I am in real life. My name is Jason Marquis by the way.

I prefer Legend default. I can still hit a homer a game or so, not too many, but I prefer to grind out games. I averaged a few homers a game on All Star default and thought that was just too easy and boring. I never use sliders.

Ok...am I missing something? By "swing stick" are you talking about 2k8's version 2.0 or cursor hitting? You still have to use the left stick to aim your hits anyway, and move the cursor for zone hitting correct? So why are you saying you don't have to use the left stick? Thanks so much..

Cause if you pull back on the right stick (swing stick) and then press forward to hit the ball you do not need to use the left stick at all.

Then how do you influence the direction of the ball then without the left stick?

You dont, you just swing and hit the ball, all depends on timing where the ball goes just like the last 8 years of MLB 2k series
