List of post patch#2 bugs and issues. Please contribute bugs/work arounds.

    From my thread at MLB 2K9 forums;
(Thought I would share with this forum.)

Bugs that still exist post patch #2.

NOTE: The ones in bold print I feel are the most severe plauging GAMEPLAY and FRANCHISE mode. These are the issues that break this game for me. I really hope to most if not all are addressed in a 3rd patch.

--Unable to make pitch cursor invisible in human VS human games w/ friends at home.
--There is NO fatigue recovery during off days. Off days are pointless. So is the all star break. (Franchise)
--You are unable to enter contract talks AT ALL during the season, even with 1 yr left on a contract. (Franchise)
--There is not enough player collision detection, guys walk right through each other. This also means double plays can not be broken up!
--You cannot edit lineups for games you sim during the season. (Franchise)
--There is no depth chart to position players to set up. Sim games just run your starters to 0% fatigue. Bench guys never end up playing. (Franchise)
--You can no longer sim to the end of a game being played. (Why was this great feature removed?)
--You cannot sub a pitcher during mid-inning or while you are batting. So the only option is sub out your pitcher when you come up to pitch. This uses any possibility to do a mound visit once you bring in a reliever to calm down or to do one for strategic purposes. Really if you are up 1 or 2 runs going to the bottom of the 9th, you should be able to have your closer come right out of the gate. Not still see your previous pitcher there, and then subbing him out.
--You cannot make defensive changes mid inning either.
--Players get stuck being injured with 1 days left on their injury over and over. (Franchise)
--You cannot see the CPU pitch count during live play.
--Why cant we edit stances and stuff? Why is there a limit on edits? Who cares? If I want to name every player Mickey Mouse I should be able to
--There is no way to see the CPU teams batting order, bull pen list, or bench players in game. Like, when you are up to bat you can hit down on the D-pad to see your batting order, bench, and bullpen. There IS NO way to do this for the CPU team.
--When you make ANY defensive change, the players involved in the changes CANNOT be controlled if the ball is hit near him. You cannot control them in any way, they just stand there. So you are almost better off leaving whoever is in at a certain position no matter how lousy they are at that position. THIS IS A BAD ONE
--When you bring players up from the minor leagues to the majors, or trade a player, their appearance changes to a generic one. In my franchise David Ortiz is now a white guy because I sent him to minors while he was injured. Their photo and appearance in edit mode still look like their old selves, but on the field in game they change to some generic looking guy. (Franchise)
--When you bring players up from the minor leagues their stats come with them. So they have their minor league stats listed as their major league stats, and the stats mix together. These two bugs jumble stats and appearances when moving guys up and down. (Franchise)
--When guys come up to bat in game, its says they own hitting streaks they don't actually have. (For example it told me Varitek had a 7 game hitting streak, when he did not, and was batting .178) (Franchise)
--When you make changes to positions being played defensively in the pre-game presentation any players you change around are locked in position if a ball is hit near them. They wont move no matter what you do. (same result from defenisve changes mid game)
--After one complete season in franchise mode CPU controlled teams reduce their roster to only 22 players. (it should ALWAYS be 25 players on an MLB roster) Further, if you auto adjust your roster it happens to your team as well. (Franchise)
--If you pitcher pitches less than one inning (IE 1/3 and inning or 2/3 an inning) his innings pitched stat records as 1 1/3 innings or 1 2/3 innings. So it always adds one inning onto what he actually pitched. (Franchise)
--The top 100 prospect list does not work. It lists guys batting .1000 because they had one at bat. It should only consider guys with a larger sample size of playing time (Can anyone confirm if this feature has been removed by patch#2? I haven't seen it come since patch 2) (Franchise)
