I think that this problem is solved by lowering the Fatigue Slider in the Game Settings menu to 40 or so. I've found that at 50 (default), the pitcher will have only given up one or two runs through 6 innings, and if I've worked his pitchcount to like 70 or so, it'll take him out. With this lowered, I've had lines like 7 1/3 inn, 2 R. I haven't really played any Aces in the franchise, so maybe it'll run a complete game at you.Comment

if you or the AI leaves a pitcher in the game long after they are fatigued, that pitcher usually gets hurt.
So it might have been a good move on the AI, cause they are also competing for a championshipComment
