    This game is quite unrealistic...

Not bashing it, I like it so far, but some things don't make sense. First thing, outfielders miss the ball plenty, and it turns a can of corn into a triple twice a game. Second thing, why on certain counts does my catcher give ******** signs. For example, A 2 seamer way out of the zone on a 3-2 count, or an 0-2 fastball right down the middle. Is there a way to turn catcher's signals off? Plus I find that even the worst teams are teeing off on me daily.. and no one on the mets is an easy out aside from brian schneider. Can someone recommend the best sliders, seeing as there's so many, or tell me how I can get better. Note, I use breakpoint aim, and classic pitching (not with right stick) and I use classic hitting (with A and aiming my bat lol..)

    1. AI is still too agressive

    2. AI still throws too many strikes

    3. Fielding is still terrible.

It doesn't matter how you work the sliders, unless #1 and 2 mainly are fixed through some type of roster update, this game will suffer.

Seems like 2K tried to speed up the games by making the computer throw more strikes and be agressive at the plate so hits come faster. They failed. You do not try to speed up a simulation game. A simulation game is meant to play how it does in real life. They already have The Bigs. If you want to speed up a game, 2K, speed up The Bigs.

*Sigh* It's so frustrating not having a choice...

You are correct about the third one, but the AI aggressiveness is fixed you just need to learn to pitch correctly. I average like 3 K's looking a game. The AI does throw many balls if you lower the AI strike zone slider. You also need to be patient when at the plate to work the pitch count to make the pitcher more tired which makes him throw more balls.

I do work the count, but the catcher gives me the worst signs. DO I just avoid them?

You can shake off signs from the catcher by using the A button on 360 controller, if you aren't happy with what he's wanting, and he'll give you another sign. I just recently learned this...

you can shake off the sugestions and get a new sign, or turn the option off in the options menu. If the sugestion is way outside shake it off or just hit the corner. Just because the count is 3-2 doesn't mean you have to pitch a strike, you just need the hitter to THINK that you are pitching a strike.
              Gaming hard since 1988

I have won like 25 Super Bowls in Madden so I am kinda a big deal.

I don't know about that. Yes, it is better than pre-patch, but it seems as if I can't ever start off an at bat with a strike. My pitch counts are high, but not as high as they should be.

Also, the AI does throw too many balls even with the pitch zone and strike zone slider at 0. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

                Rough night last night haha.

I also wish they would fix the foul ball issue. I don't see enough of those either.
