Could not move a player that I had control of

Just playing a game with me the Texas Rangers against the Cincinnati Reds. I had Elvis Andrus as SS and Brandon Phillips just hit a slow ground ball Andrus' left side and I could not move Andrus. He was just standing there kicking dirt. I had control of him but it would not let me move him at all.

Has anybody seen this or is this just an anomaly in the game?

Yep. Happened to me once, but with my 3rd baseman. Took control of him but he just stood there and wouldn't move. Slow roller went right past him and the only thing left to do was have my LF run all the way in to the edge of the dirt to scoop it up. I was like, WTF?

Fortunately, I've only seen it that one time. But it's out there.

Happened to me once too when a grounder was hit to Aubrey Huff.

No biggie, it's a game, and these types of things will happen from time to time w/o any explanation.
