I've been trying to convince myself its not game breaking but in all honesty, for me at least, I think it is.

I will say that I am excited for next year though. If they can completely sort out the fielding and AI behaviour ( give us our sliders back!) and really expand on the real time broadcast presentation then I think VC will have a fantastic game on their hands. At the moment I just feel its so close but yet so far.
    EXACTLY!!!!!

this game does so many things right, but its the few little things that make me want to to throw the game out the window.

I do think there is logic behind the game, and once I figure it out, then the game may become more manageable.

The same type of AI aggressiveness existed in NBA 2k9 PC edition. The adaptive AI was fierce, but the game became more manageable once you figured out how to counter act the AI's decisions. The game became more of a chess match, at times.

I figure that there are some intricacies in baseball that I dont fully understand, and maybe that logic is in the game. But this doesnt justify the fielding issues.

For now its the fielding that drives me nuts.
