    I need some trade advice

As you know the Giants have a weak offense. I'd even say that their offense is abysmal at the very least. I can't seem to muster any kind of offense with this current crew. I have a strong pitching staff, but a weak offense that can't score many runs. I want to try and unload Barry Zito and Benjie Molina for a power bat, but at the same time try and make the trade as realistic as possible.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it was me i would try and get a big time power hitter like Troy Glaus.

A possible trade being something like Zito and Molina along with a ok nothing great Prospect for Glaus and Barton or any of there other prospects

I mean no1 is going to take Zitos contract but if i was trading him i would need something more then just glaus.

2K sports...the only place where such things as errors can be "over looked" while making a baseball game.

Adrian Beltre is another choice. He is in a contract year and the Mariners are not going to resign him.

I have a Giants franchise also and was able to trade for Ellsbury. I also was able to trade for Nate McLouth. Puts a lot of speed in your lineup and has potential for lots of extra base hits with the brick wall in right. Boston took Rowand and a minor leaguer for Ellsbury and Pittsburgh took two minor league pitchers for McLouth.

          Thanks for the suggestions!

I actually think that I'm going to try and trade for Adam Dunn. From looking at his ratings, this guy has amazing power 90+ at both l/r.

Why in the world would SF sign Zito to this huge contract to begin with? Was he really worth that kind of scratch when he was in his prime?

These are his stats from his contract year:

            W: 16 L: 10 ERA: 3.83 IP:221 (Never an injury risk) SO: 151 BB: 99 WHIP: 1.40

He made $10 million in '07 and $14.5 million in '08. Not sure what he is making this year.

Plus Zito has a full no trade clause.
