    What camera settings do you guys play with?

    Pitching I use an, overhead behind the back with
    Z: 3
    P: 1
    H: 7
    settings

    For batting, I've been using a zoomed, and centered 8/8, but have been experimenting with other settings to see if I can draw more walks.

    Does the pitch zoom help at all? I've never used it.

        8-5 from the batter's perspective for both batting and pitching. Still tinkering, just trying to get a gauge on ball location from the cpu since I am using zone hitting.

          Batting 10-6. The pitch speed in this game was tuned down so to really be challenged I need to be zoomed up. Plus if you step in a batter's box the pitcher is not as far away as he is with the zoom setting at 1.

          Pitching 3-1-8

            I bat and pitch from the pitcher's perspective. I zoom in to 7. It gives me more of a "watching on TV" feel plus since I started playing this way the computer's pitch counts have gone up , since it's easier to work the count

              For my last 4 games, I used to 1/7 batting, with the zoom-in pitch. And wow, what a difference. I'm seeing the ball a lot better, have walked at least 3-4 times per game. And am hitting a lot better also. Gonna have to adjust my sliders now because in 2 of the 4 games, I had double digit hits.

                Pitching 3 - 1 - 8
                Batting 2 - 8

                I took these from one of the early slider sets. Can't remember which one. Been using them ever since.

                  Pitching = default

                  Hitting = 5, 7, no zoom

                    by work the count you mean you see where every pitch will land before its thrown right? that totally ruins that view for me...i wish it was like the show where the catchers glove sets up at the very last second and then moves his glove to where it lands. with 2k, we're given way too much advance notice where the ball will end up and the pitcher will always hit the glove. no matter who he is.

                      Yea, I hear ya, but they dont spot there pitch to their glove every time and the sliders I've gotten from these forums give me a good , tough game. I get struck out anywhere from 5-10 times a game and I get a good variety of pitching duels, etc. I thought it would be too easy but so far so good and it adds a bit to the presentation for me I guess. I turn the strike zone box off too

                        Wow I just changed to 3 - 5 from the batter's perspective and it's like a different game. I'm using classic hitting with no cursor now and slightly modified sliders and am now seeing the right amount of extra base hits and HRs. Game feels a lot like MVP 05 now.

                          I changed my hitting camera to 4 - 7 and it's much better. I can see if a breaking ball is coming a little better now.

                            Re: What camera settings do you guys play with?

                            I have been using ZOOM 1 or 2 ( I like to mix it up) with a HEIGHT of 6.

                            Of all the cameras I experimented with, this seemed to provided me with the best challenge.

                            I like to play on classic batting with a pitch speed of about 85 and with this camera setting, the pitches come in with alot of zip and you get to see more of the trajectory of the ball.

                            At the default setting of (5/5?) I think its too zoomed in and foreshortened so you dont get a true sensation of the path and speed of the pitches

                            Try these settings for a few innings and I think you will really like the challenge of hitting and a truer feel of "WhiiiZZZzzzzz!" to the pitches

                              Not that anyone really cares, ha, but I messed this up: I use 1/6/3 for pitching.
