Wow - I sometimes let my catcher get in the mid 60s!

Stars, however, I don't let them get below 70.

Honestly i think it just effects production at the plate. And generally I don't let them get below 80. I usually give my catcher a little more rest though, because that is a little more realistic.

I rest my catcher more too and like to rest non star players when they fall below 90 just because I have a bunch of players who can play multiple positions and are similar in ratings.

Its good to see others noticing a drop in production. I have played at least 75 games since my last post in this thread, and I definitely seemed to be seeing it.

Once you start to actually think about it you start to notice it. For example I had Aramis Ramirez not get a hit for like 2 or 3 games, and I had completely stopped looking at lineups pregame, sure enough he was in the high 70's I think so I sat him and his production bounced right back up.

Also side note, it seems that the catcher gets fatigued quicker, and I like that they implemented that aspect into the game. Makes it realistic.

I think there is definitely a drop in production - when my guys are 100%, especially the star players, theyre incredible.

That being said, I dont let anyone get under 70%. Ill normally play the starters if theyre above 75%

I dont let my guys get below 88 and I score double digits every game on All Star mode. My guys are always very fresh.

                  Re: Resting players

I've seen a huge drop in production when the players are tired, and a definite pick-up in that same production when they come back from a day off.

Playing with the San Francisco Giants... Emmanuel Burriss flew out of the gate, led the Majors in batting average and hits, had like a 12-game hit streak, and then just went ice cold when his stamina was below 80%. Gave him a day or two off during a week that also had an off-day or two, and he came back with a 2-hit performance.

Same thing with Bengie Molina, Aaron Rowand (Rowand was SUCKING it up, and I gave him a day off, then he came back and went 3-for-4 with an RBI triple), and hopefully Fred Lewis, who I just gave his first day off to after he went ice cold.

Perhaps it's different for different people, different players, different teams, and maybe even different schedules, but I know that I HAVE seen fatigue be a factor in production, and usually one day off is enough for the everyday players.
