asb definately has a problem with comp. trading, i once saw the yankees trade giambi for lance berkman and giambi sat on the bench in houston behind bagwell.

I, honestly, haven't played ASB and it's franchise mode to officially compare, but I WILL tell you why i'm loving WSB's franchise mode...

Minor leagues, the fact that players have loyalty ratings and may or may not want traded... I like how teams actually trade "per need" and not just make deals "for the hell of it".. I like the coaches, I like the way team projected incomes are a factor, I like how teams won't take a big name player off of you due to it "not being in it's financial scheme"...

I don't know which of these features ASB shares with WSB, but these are why I chose and love WSB.

When you try to trade a player with high loyalty rating to Chicago(for example)he'll ask not to saying that it's too windy in Chicago and that he would prefer to stay put...

Giving players time off can help in loyalty too.

Agreed, Heelfan, I'm on season #2, and there hasn't been a trade that I've really questioned like the one described. This area has been MUCH IMPROVED from last year, in terms of trade frequency and players traded.

I also like the use of your coaches... that is great sh*t.

That's the craziest ish I've ever read. You maniac.

Anyhow, I haven't played this year's ASB. The things it's franchise has that WSB doesn't, they sound cool. But WSB's unlimited seasons overrides all that. The exact same schedule every year is very annoying, though.
