just a heads up and a quick "Q"
I noticed that one of the box stores is going to be selling new copies at 40$ I've been on the fence about picking it up. With the patches now in place has the game improved for the most part.I had the show for the ps2 but I really dig the pitching set up 2k9 has. With the show it seem to be a series of (x) button taps.Any advise or response would be cool.

IMO I would not buy this game knowing what I do now about how it plays. It has a lot of potential but it will almost always do something that just ruins the entire experience and I turn it off whether it's the CPU AI or you when fielding. It's really a bummer because I am in no position with other things going on at this time to buy a PS3 just to get my baseball fix. I rented it and played a very good game of baseball.
I actually went back to 2k7 and minus the choppy frame rate, with good sliders that game looks and played pretty decent. I only with I could lower the batting camera to 3 which really helps with reading balls and strikes. I can't seem to judge them in 2k7 or the show. Crazy how two games later I can't even make it through a whole game.
