playoffs and World Series paints on the field?

Can somebody confirm if there is the playoffs and WS paintings on the field? also, the atmosphere gets better?

I don't have 2k9, but other people on this site have confirmed that there isn't logos on the grass or bunting/banners in playoff games. Only the All-Star game has that stuff in 2k9.


I'm not sure about the atmosphere...The crowd is probably the same as a regular season game. That's how it always is in 2k baseball games. I've seen the World Series celebration and it was weak as hell. No dog pile, fans were harldy cheering, it just sucked balls.

Why would they have THAT when they are missing closed dome roofs, stadium animations and rain that were in 2k8? Face it, this is a bare bones game til next year.

How about they forgot to add the extra umpires that are on the fair/foul lines in the outfield for the playoff run? Like I said before, maybe before they release the game next year, they have some input from some advisers that actually stepped onto the field at some point...

Because even though they may have an MVP on their code-writing nerd squad, having an actual baseball player nearby would do wonders for their game.

Well, if the crowd is quiet during the World Series celebration, theres a good chance that their quiet throughout the game too.

Then theres 2k5,2k6,2k7 and 2k8, which all had the same quiet atmosphere for the regular season and playoffs.
