Some teams glitched more than others?

I just want to run this past everybody. I can't help but notice that some teams seem to be more glitched up than others. My example of a really messed up team is the Red Sox. I cannot believe how many misplays I have seen in just one series. How many fly balls that get dropped, how many botched catches in the infield, plus the players just seem to move weird.

So I switched to the Met and started and season and noticed none of the wonkiness (except when I put Sheffield in Right Field...dont play this man, ever.) So now I have decided to give curser hitting try, and went back to use the Red Sox, and the fielding is terrible again.

Has anybody noticed that some teams just play a lot worse than others (beyond the player ratings of course)?

Have you played NFL 2K5? Classic game from that perspective. There are specific player ratings -- Consistency, for example -- which, if set too low, can cause a player react and behave as if he's drunk or stoned or something. Having such a wide selection of sliders and player ratings in 2K games is fantastic when they all work correctly, and horribly weird when those sliders and ratings conflict with one another and with the game programming.

so are you saying that it is possible with downloaded custom sliders that they dont jibe with the intent of the designers?

I'm just saying that 2K games have so many variables as far as the game programming goes, that weird, funky player movement and behavior is often the norm in their games. As far as the Red Sox go, did you check their fielding ratings? Because unlike other baseball games (The Show for example), fielding ratings in 2K baseball have a huge affect on gameplay.
