PC or 360 Version Worth It?

I've been craving some baseball video games. I still have MVP 05 for old XBOX, but it seems like the modding community is dying down for it. I'm debating getting this game, and if I do, should it be for the 360 or the PC? I've read that the modding community is doing work on this game for the PC, so that is kind of encouraging. What do you guys think is the right move?

If your pc has all the required specs, get the PC version. It costs 19.99. plus there are plenty of mods available for this game.
game has a few minor issues but otherwise it plays a decent game of baseball

Would these specs get the job done?

      OS - Vista
      RAM - 3gb
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo CPU [email protected] GHz
System type - 32-bit Operating System
Video Adapter Type - Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
Total Available Graphics Memory - 358 MB
      System Video Memory 128 MB
      Shared System Memory 230 MB

Also, would I be able to hook up a wireless 360 controller using the wire that charges the controller through USB ports to play the game?

I would but I'm not paying $75 for a game that's already five years old.

I assume you mean the PC version, cause I just bought the PS2 version and IMO its dated when compared to the new gen games.

I was thinking about getting the PC version but the cost was a bit high, and Im not sure if the game could be played with a joystick/controller or not.

I dont know if you have the appropriate video card, but everything else is o.k.
from what I hear you cant use a wireless controller. THE XBOX controller does work. I use a logitech controller.

If you can stand playing off a monitor or can hook your PC into a TV AND have a XBOX360 PC controller- get PC version. You CANNOT play this game well with only a mouse and keyboard.

The Pc version is well worth the money. It doesn't seem to have nearly as many glitches as the console version.I have played over 100 games and have encountered very few problems. I don't get the DL glitch and rarely have a wtf just happened moment with my outfielders.I have a 24" HD monitor and use the xbox 360 controller,I also have a Logitech Dual Analog that works fine, You can get the Logitech controller for under $20. Add in the mods from www.mvpmods.com and www.eamods.com makes for an enjoyable experience imo.

I tried both Xbox360 and PC versions & prefer the PC, due to the nice mods. For me the PC also looked better because I use my PC monitor with my Xbox, and the resolution with the Xbox (1280x1024) is lower then my PC (1600x1200). And the PC version is alot cheaper.

Bear in mind that you cannot play online with the PC version.
