Having played A LOT of games I think it's rather hit or miss...sort of. I pitched Joe Blanton to his 1st Cy Young in my Phillies 'chise and he went down 1 OVR point, w/ either all or a couple of his pitches decreasing 1pt in ratings.

I'm trying to get Zack Greinke to progress, and have pitched 7 games w/ him. He's 2-3 w/ a 3.63 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP leading KC in Ks. Hopefully some of his pitches can get a boost: FB (77), 12-6 (75), CB (70), Slider (77), Circle-change (71).

I started my 'chise before the season began so the Zack Greinke I'm using isn't the same as the updated "living roster" version; which has his FB at (85).

You can edit the pitcher to be more effective versus RH/LH batters, and increase his stamina/composure/K&BB rate. I've done so w/ Greinke, making his RH/LH effectiveness @ 90, stamina 100, and composure 85.

My thinking is that will at least make up for the lack of quality w/ his pitches, and make him equally as effective. If his pitches go up I'll drop the ratings down some. With the edits I've done to Greinke is still only an 88 OVR (from 84).
