    Splitters and Sinkers??

Is anybody else having trouble with these two pitches being hit all the time. I can't seem to get strikes with these pitches at all. If I leave them in the zone, they get hit. If I try to put them a little lower, they are taken for a ball.

I find that they have to be thrown in the perfect spot in order for it to be useful.

You have to start it near the bottom of the zone and have it dropping just barely out of it. A lot of the time I have to set up the use for it by not throwing it for a good portion of the game.

Sinkers are definitely hit hard - no question about it. I never do well with Ching Ming Wang because of it.

Any pitch with real late breaking movement at the end gets hit really hard in this game, which is really unfortunate.

Its like it doesnt break fast enough for the hitter to miss it.

I've just recently found a groove w/ Luke Hochevar, who uses a sinker as his only fastball.

It took me awhile to find the perfect location, and works best against right handers.

I place the cursor inside, mid-thigh, and it drops down and in. Usually will result in a swing and miss or a ground out.

I have noticed that a sinker that is not pitched well like it should goes out of the park. I have hit a grove with it and it's my go to pitch now.

The slider to me is the worst pitch in the game no matter who I throw it with some how it magically goes right down the middle.

The slider in this game is awful. In real life, a good slider has good downward movement (that's why it's a good ground ball pitch). In this game, the slider is way too flat. It's only good for starting on the corner running away, or for back dooring. It's not good. I do well with a Sinker, but the splitter (I only have one mlb player who throws it) gets hammered.

cutters...they suck either a wild pitch or a smash
