Send down/call up problems

I'm in the 80th game or so of a franchise, first season. I'm riddled with injuries, is there any way to call people up without sending down? I have four guys on the DL, everytime i go to send them down, it tells me they don't count toward my player count and doesn't let me send them down. But at the same time i can't call anyone up without sending anyone down, any help? There has to be a way to call players up without sending down, right? Or is this game completely f'd? Thanks guys.

do you have 25 players on the roster you want to call the player up to?

Yes but i have four players on the dl and it tells me that they are not included in the player count, and i can't do anything to them.

This is interesting. I will look at this tomorrow in my franchise. You can't send the DL guys down, but if you have 25 total players and only 21 are active with 4 on the DL, then you should be able to just call up without sending down. I am pretty sure that I have not had this problem, but I will know for sure when I can get back to the game tomorrow.

Ok, I have 24 active players on my roster and 2 players on the DL. I can call up a player from AAA or whatever and it lets me do that without swapping with another player. Are you sure that you do not have 25 guys on your active roster and then the other guys are on your DL and don't count towards those 25? That is probably what is happening. You already have 25 active players and you can't go over 25 active players. If you go to the team summary screen that shows how many guys you have in each league, how many does it say for the MLB team. If it says 25, then you can't call up another player unless you swap one with them. That number 25 is not counting your DL players, so if it says 25, then you do already have a full roster even with those other players on the DL. Make sense?:wink:

wat u do is got to ur minors roster n select the player u want to call up and select send to MLB and u will get a note sayin ur roster is incorrect at which point u will be taken to the mlb roster where u can send down anyone including DL guys

but beware ur players will come back to the minors with generic face and stances
