Groundouts- 50%
Flyouts- 30%
Basehits- 10%
Fouls- 7%
Homeruns- 3%
Most of my hits either roll right to one of the infielders for an easy groundout or are massive flyballs that drift right to the outfielders and they can catch them while barely having to move. I can't get any hits that land outside of the infielders, but inside of the outfielders to get a basehit, yet the CPU can do it with ease. Most of my runs come from homeruns (usually a solo shot, maybe 2 RBI if i managed to land a basehit beforehand) because I can never get enough basehits in one inning to drive in runs before the inning is over and i leave guys stranded on-base.
Not to mention, there are also times when I can't get my guys to swing. I'll down/up motion on the right stick and they either don't swing at all, or check their swing. It's annoying to watch a batter site there are check 3 swings in a row on 3 pitches coming right over the plate that he should be able to crush to be called out an end the inning. Quick question, do they still have the two types of swings, contact (pull back on the stick and let go) and power (pull back and push forward)? I've been playing assuming they do, but if they don't that could be part of the problem.
