When you assign a player to the minors can you just assign him for 10 days as rehab...is that possible? OR can you only believe that you assigned him for 10 days etc...

I think you can send anyone down at anytime for as long as you want... HOWEVER, some players aren't eligible for demotion and will cost you a BP to release him... it'll let you know who is and isn't eligible for demotion. But say Brian Giles gets hurt, and comes back, I'm not sure I can option him to the minors for rehab, I'm pretty sure he'll be ineligible for demotion. But I know I got relievers and two back-up 1B's I keep alternating time in and out of the minors with no problems.Comment
