WSB: Cursor Hitting

I have WSB 2k3 for the xbox and i was wondering can
anyone who has this for the xbox, give me tips on cursor
placement. Am currently playing in allstar level, with very
fast pitch speed and very small cursor size and using default sliders
and I having difficulty on placing the cursor when the ball crosses the plate against the CPU. I tend to get alot of strike outs and less hits.

i wouldn't say i'm an expert but i am very good at the cursor hitting.
for the most part, leave cursor in the middle and watch pitch as long as you can.
the fastball will get you 95% of the time so you have to look and hit the off-speed pitches and the hangers k
85-100 mph fastballs kill me all the time so i swing at them, try and be patient and get a pitch you can handle.
i play legends level very fast pitching and very small cursor,....i love the challenge...heck my team average after allstar break is still around .325
next season sega needs to make it harder to get a hit.

i tried this against a pitcher that i couldnt hit once. i lined the cursor below his arm and followed it like i would if i was really hitting. i use it when i am getting spanked. it seems to work, even though i dont dio that all the time.

I leave my cursor in the upper/middle part of the plate. Sometimes for me it's like guess hitting. I try predicting where the ball is going to go. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I gave up on the cursor and just use timed hitting. The cursor was really ruining the game for me, and the analog sticks just aren't precise enough IMO. Using the custom sliders I've made the game hard enough as it is to hit, so it works for me. (I suck at hitting really bad, using the cursor was KILLING me! )

To each his own, that's part of what makes WSB so good. You can customize it well enough to make it hard for YOU, not what some programmers decided was your skill level.

Try and guess where the pitch will be. I like to keep the cursor low and adjust to the high pitches.
