Now let me try to explain this:
Okay, first of all, I don't know what the zoom-out button is on Xbox for replay mode, but it is R2 for PS2. Okay, first hold onto R2, so you are zoomed out. Stay held on to R2 so it's easier. Then you will notice that sometimes when you hit angles made by the walls in the stadium (still during replay mode), and you try to move to the angle, then it will be kind of shaky... so that's the kind of place where you need to go (I suggest that you go to an obtuse angle, and those are found in foul territory). Now, what you need to do, is where YOU are viewing the replay, that part of the thing needs to be against the angle, still holding onto R2 (or white or black or whatever) and then try using the analog stick and moving right (or left, according to which side the fence is on). So far confusing, right? It should be.
Now, once you are on the other side, you completed the easiest step. Now let go of R2 (or w/b).
Now, you are on the other side, right? Okay, go to a foul pole, and bring your yellow locking circle to the corner of the fence down the line (again it doesn't matter what stadium you are in). now that you are kind of facing half of the field and halfly facing the stands, be tilted at about a 30 degree angle, and simply just hold onto up... yes, up on the D-pad... not holding onto anything but up, and for some reason, you see that you are staying in position, but the yellow lock circle thingy is moving away from you... yes... that means you are zooming out! Note... do NOT press R2, L2, black, or white once you are zoomed out, because then it will default to close or far away according to the button that you press... now just keep on repeating it, however when you go back into the stands, just use the analog stick and don't press R2 or w/b while you are trying to get onto the other side. And then once you are at the foul pole the second time, go at about a 70 degree angle and then hold onto up. Just keep doing it until you are very muhc zoomed out, and then you can view what the whole stadium looks like. Now, not every stadium is complete, meaning you will be going through walls and glitchy stuff, but it's supposed to be like that. So far the only stadium I've had trouble with is Montreal's Olympic Stadium.
I don't know how else I can explain it. If you guys need more help, then bring me to the Chat Room and I will explain it to you step-by-step as you are walking through it.
If only I had a digital camera or something then I could show you pics of stadiums zoomed out and stuff, it's quite cool looking (NOTE: I suggest that you try this during day games, because then the lights don't get in your way as they shine VERY brightly when you are zooming out).
Hopefully you understood and hopefully it works for you, because this just might only be on MY copy of WSB 2K3.
