@PhilHull: I did 8 hours of voice files for MLB 2K10 on Monday. Tuesday night my voice was iffy, so I squeaked a little on a Power Play.

I emailed him to get some dirt on why he recorded so many voice tracks. and after small responses, i got the most i could get out of some new additions to the game.

- "I’ve been the Public Address Announcer on the MLB game since (I think) 2K5.
-They not only added new players for the “Bigs”, they added just about every minor league team out there.
-A lot of “wild tracks” like promos and special nights like “Evan Langoria backpack night”"

So more depth with the minor league system, good sign.
and special nights, i'm looking forward to the New Features List for the game.

good stuff! i am very excited to see what 2k has to offer this year! hopefully some news coming this week?

It would be incredible if they added rookie ball and/or lower A clubs. That, in itself, would definitely get me interested.

If they don't expand rosters to 40-man rosters in September I could care less about having whatever they've done with the minors.

wonder if he was adding new names into the system as well. bc ronnie had linked people to the 2k baseball forums and had people post their last names. today was the deadline to get your name in the game.

i don't want MY damn name in this game...i want them to put the REAL freakin' players last names in this game. this is the juvenile part of these games i can't stand...wasted space in my opinion...

Was it 2K8 or 2K9 where basically every inning they would announce that John Smotlz won the Hank Aaron award (or was it the Roberto Clemente award)?

Not this guys fault, but man that got annoying.

not gonna lie, but when i go to create my player and my name is not in the game i get a bit ticked.

so kudos to the mlb2k team for once, the nhl 2k team did this years ago!!

They can't do it for the minor leaguer's until they have played a game in the MLB.
