lol, i wouldnt ever notice things like slightly large thighs? hmmm.. I dont even know what to say to that really. Doesnt really look weird to me. I would imagine alot of the players have larger thighs though thats how they help generate their power.

Yes...the hands in that Longoria pic looked freakish!
But I gotta be honest....graphics are one of the last things in a game I find important...so TO ME...who cares?

I would understand if that was Jason Kubel, but his is Justin Morneau. He ain't quite that large.









Again, I only hope this is due to them bringing back the animated cloth, which I hope for 2K11 they slim down the jerseys to fit more tightly on the jerseys. The NBA 2K series had this issue for three years going into next-gen.

I agree with you here. As long as the animations are top notch I could care less if there is a "short" arm, or big legs. I just thought that in those photos it looks like one of them got some color saturation work and the other didn't.

You're right about the thighs. Hopefully they can tweak them a little before release.

Not mostly the thighs, it is the monster calves, er cankles!

I don't know about the thighs, most player has pretty big thighs and wrist and forearms that is why they can hit so good. Also when you wear those sliding shorts they wear now they are going to look bigger. If the animation is top notch I will get this game. I like the player models a lot.

Dude good call, so can people quit dogging on the thighs, it is the ankles and calves. I see that now. But it really shows in the players that were high socks. I still like the player models though.

I know this isn't visual-based, but if they can finally match the sound effects (bat and glove sounds, fan cheers) with the game's visuals, this year may actually be good for 360 owners.

That's one thing that I couldn't ever own up to... those bat sounds are literally almost a gamekiller for me. This game would be twice as appealing just by fixing the bat sounds.

I'll read over them again. Seriously, they've been messed up since the beginning of time, but they made them even worse in 2K5 and never got much better.

That and the batting animation once it hit the ball it had a weird looking animation. The head was not in the right position. It was just very ugly.

I thought I read something about the bat sounds, but I cant' find it.

I don't recall reading anything about that specifically. There was something written about it last year, I know. And though they did change them up some for 2K9 (with slight improvement in certain scenarios) overall they still had that bamboo kind of sound to them.

Yeah, the sound was pretty annoying. I guess well have to wait and see then.
