This is kind of a "no offense" question that applies to pretty much everybody who makes custom covers as well as the professionals that release the official covers, but why deem it necessary to actually cut off some of the lettering of the game's name itself? That's just beyond strange.

Again, I'm not intending to be rude with the question, I was just wondering. It doesn't seem like anyone else does this other than 2K and, well, The Show. The custom covers seem to follow the same suit. It's just funny that the game itself is more recognized by its cover athlete or the style of the cover than the actual name of the game itself, which should probably be front and center. I mean covering the MLB logo is probably a big no-no lol so they definitely have to be weary with what the put the player in front of.
